Vitamin A Smoothie

Orange is the name of the game with this smoothie, which includes vitamin A rich ingredients in sweet potato and carrot.

Chia seeds add that all important protein boost.​

Ingredients


  • ½ large sweet potato
  • ½ banana
  • ½ carrot
  • 1 spoon chia seeds, soaked
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

​Soak the Chia in water for at least 20 minutes

Bake the sweet potato in the oven until soft and tender and then leave to cool before making the smoothie. You may want to leave it to chill overnight in the refrigerator and make the next day.

Add all ingredients to your blender and combine until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
